Colin Keegan holds an associate's degree in communication studies from Connecticut State Community College in 2025 and is currently attending Central Connecticut State University for 2025 to get a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media Studies, Colin has been studying for a career in Film production after high school in 2023.

Colin took many classes pertaining to his degree at the Middlesex, Asnuntuck, and Manchester Community Colleges. These classes gave many lessons of film review, hands-on experience on sets, and understanding production behind the scenes. Colin was acknowledged by Professors, who have long been in the film industry, for his great cooperation and quick decision-making.

In his time at the Community Colleges, Colin got to experience a stressful first-hand scenario of a crisis on film set as the stand-in director. He was able to pull through with on-the-spot decision making, creating an episode of a T.V Show for an assignment with about 15 people working on set with no major difficulties. Challenges through the editing process in class helped Colin develop skills for industry standard editing processors like Adobe, and he has even worked on short films in and out of school to gain more experience.

Colin has also spent his free time working on his photography skills and various equipment to grasp a better understanding of technology and techniques used in the film world. He has traveled to various states across the U.S while taking pictures and videos for short films or capturing experience and life through the lens.

He is currently seeking forms of internships and freelance jobs, alongside other formats of employment. Colin has been currently gathering new knowledge along with acquiring equipment suited for the tasks that will lie ahead. Colin also is currently networking with people at CCSU and trying to engage with the activities.

After graduation, Colin plans to work in film and T.V building his resume to branch out into amount of freelancing on the side. In five years, he sees himself gaining a better understanding of the technology of film and television to gain the ability to travel more.
